Science communications & outreach
I am currently the Chair of the European Association of Geochemistry (EAG) Communications Team and assist with outreach for the International Continental Drilling Program (ICDP) GOE-DEEP project. I also co-founded Rock Archive, a blog series that shares state-of-the-art knowledge on Earth history using simple illustrations and accessible language. From 2020 to 2022, I served as an outreach coordinator and Editor-in-Chief of a blog for the EGU Climate (CL) Division, and later became the Head of Outreach for the EGU CL Division. In all of these roles, I work with international collaborators to help communicate science to global audiences.
I am currently the Chair of the European Association of Geochemistry (EAG) Communications team, where I oversee the EAG newsletters, the EAG Blogosphere, the EAG Reactions webinar series, and the EAG social media accounts. Each year, we also brainstorm creative ways to communicate science from across the geochemistry community.
I co-founded Rock Archive, a European Research Council–funded outreach program that explores the current state of knowledge on the co-evolution of life and Earth’s changing environment using simple illustrations. We have several blog series, some of which have been featured in the European Association of Geochemistry Blogosphere!
I support outreach efforts for the International Continental Drilling Program (ICDP) project Gabon and Oxygenation of Earth – Drilling Early Earth Project (GOE-DEEP). I have contributed blog posts for the project and am currently leading its social media outreach. Learn more below.
From 2019 to 2022, I was an outreach coordinator and the Editor-in-Chief for the EGU Climate: Past, Present and Future blog. I organized workshops at EGU conferences, webinars, networking events, and blog and interview series featuring diverse early-career scientists. Learn more at the link below.
